EightyOne dangles the lure of a $9 burger in its new Grill

        Ed Brown will offer a $9 burger and large screen TV in the new EightyOne Grill, his plan to fill up the house’s underutilized special event space in his upscale, Michelin-starred restaurant across the street from the Planetarium.

        He plans to offer the fabulous fried clam roll he served at Citymeals-on-Wheels Street Food Festival in June as well as a soft-shell crab po’boy, spiced fries and salmon burger on a homemade bun (from his days at Tropica).

        “Simple, simple, simple. $9 to $15,” he says. Starting date isn’t set yet.
